John Ictech-Cassis

Clinical Professor, Boston University School Of Dental Medicine

Dr. John Ictech-Cassis received his Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Prosthodontics in 1986 and his DMD in 1988 from Boston University Henry M.Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Cassis has been a dental educator since 1988. He is currently a clinical professor in the Department of Restorative Sciences and Biomaterials at the Goldman School of Dental Medicine and he serves as the clinical director of the Postgraduate Operative and Esthetics and Postgraduate Digital Dentistry programs. He is also the director of the 635 Albany Street Dental Health Center at Boston University. Previously , he was the Director of the Advanced Education In General Dentistry program for 25 years. He is a dedicated member of both his professional and academic communities. He is a member of several professional societies. He also regularly gives lectures to both nationally and abroad . At the Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine, he is a member of several school committees and regularly participate in research mentoring. He has been the recipient of several awards including the Spencer N. Frankl Award for Excellence in teaching in 2006. Outside of academia , he operates two private practices in the Greater Boston area.
