Ricardo Walter

Rick Walter began his academic career as a full-time faculty member in Operative Dentistry at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry, serving from 2006 to 2011. In 2011, he joined the University of Pennsylvania as an assistant professor, a position he held until early 2014. He then returned to the UNC Adams School of Dentistry, where he remained until 2023.

Since 2023, Rick has been a full-time faculty member with the High Point University Health system, providing oral health care to patients in Durham and Chapel Hill. He is also actively involved in laboratory and clinical research, focusing primarily on dental materials, particularly resin-based restoratives.
