Aya Misrabi

I'm Aya Misrabi, a foreign dentist working as a dental assistant, originally from the bustling city of Damascus, Syria. Growing up in the midst of a lively household, with a significant age gap between me and my siblings (17 years to be exact!), I learned early on the importance of independence and perseverance.

Despite the challenges of living in a city affected by conflict, I held fast to my childhood dream of becoming a dentist. Driven by a passion for medicine and a desire to make a meaningful impact, I embraced every obstacle as an opportunity for growth, shaping my resilience and determination along the way.

After completing my dental education in Syria, I embarked on a new chapter by immigrating to the United States. While I work diligently as a dental assistant, my ultimate goal of becoming a dentist remains steadfast. Each day presents an opportunity for learning and growth, bringing me closer to realizing my dream of practicing dentistry in the U.S.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in creative endeavors such as decorations and event planning. These hobbies allow me to express my creativity and bring beauty into the world in my own unique way.

My journey has been shaped by the unwavering support and inspiration of my parents, who made incredible sacrifices to pursue their academic dreams. Their resilience in the face of adversity serves as a constant reminder that with determination and perseverance, anything is possible.
