Jennifer Emerson

Dr. Emerson has 25 years as a licensed practicing dentist and is committed to providing quality care tailored to each patient's needs.

A Seattle native, Dr. Emerson earned a full International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) 4.0, was a science and athlete stand-out, and her junior year preformed 10 memorized piano pieces 3 of which she wrote herself.  She received her BS in chemistry at Yale University in 1998 and her DDS at the University of Washington Dental School in 2002.   Upon graduation she received a Governance and Service Award along with being selected for 2002's Hospital Dentistry Award.  She stayed at the UW Dental School for a General Practice Residency (GPR) and as a member of the clinical faculty at the UW Graduate Dental School and UWMC Attending where she covered call and taught graduate dentists for 3 years.  

Dr. Emerson then pursued her prosthodontics training in the Prosthodontic Graduate Dental Residency Program at the University of Washington, where she was awarded the prestigious David Wands Fellowship for excellence in prosthodontics and which has been awarded to only 18 recipients over the past 23 years.  

After nine years in academics, Dr. Emerson opened her own practice in 2010 to offer a level of specialized dentistry to patients particularly interested in comprehensive functionality and aesthetics and which Dr. Emerson believes is central to a patient's comfort and quality of dental care.
