Dr. Slutzky graduated cum laude from the Hebrew University Hadassah medical faculty in 1986 with a B.Med. Sc. degree. He continued his education at the Tel Aviv University, Maurice and Gabriella Goldschleger, School of Dental Medicine until receiving his D.M.D. degree in 1989. 
Since graduation, he has been in private practice with an emphasis on aesthetic dentistry.
From 2004 to 2011 Dr. Slutzky finished his specialty degree as a specialist in Public Health Dentistry in the Department of Community Dentistry at the Hadassah School of Dental Medicine, Hebrew University, Jerusalem, also completing a master's degree in Public Health (M.P.H.) in the Braun School of Public Health and Community Medicine, Hebrew University, Jerusalem.  
Since his graduation as a dentist in 1989, Dr. Slutzky has been a member of the Department of Oral Rehabilitation and Restorative Dentistry at the Tel Aviv University, Goldschleger School of Dental Medicine.  
Dr. Slutzky has lectured in numerous meetings, in Israel and internationally, on issues of esthetic and restorative dentistry. He is a co-author of scientific publications on dental materials and techniques in international dental journals.      
Dr. Slutzky is active in the Israeli Dental Association, the Israeli Endodontic society, and the Israeli branch of the IADR.
Dr. Slutzky served as an International Director for the Alpha-Omega International Dental Fraternity. 
He is currently the chief dental surgeon for the biggest Israeli dental services corporation, employing more than one thousand dentists and 380 dental hygienists. 
He is an active member of several national committees in the field of dentistry.
He combines his love of traveling with being an amateur cook by taking a cooking lesson were ever in the world he arrives.
